Work For Samaritan's Well

We are looking for our next amazing relationship counselor

Our Story

Our founder Mark Verkler grew up on a farm and ranch in Arkansas, attended college at the University of Arkansas, and married his wife Marie. After college, they had four children - two biological, two adopted - and moved to the greater Dallas area. Mark became a clinical social worker, started the Dallas Suicide & Crisis Center, and later established Samaritan's Well in 2003. Mark is also an elder at Upper Room Dallas.

Over the years, Samaritan's Well has focused on workshops for couples to help them with inner healing and strengthening marriage relationships. Hundreds of individuals have sought help from Samaritans Well and experienced real transformation for the better. They share their story as a testament that everyone can experience God's blessing by taking a chance at help and courageously trusting in His will for the journey forward.
