God’s truth about marriage, communication, and building a nurturing relationship truly resonated with us. It was the perfect way we would receive the tools we would need to go forward as husband and wife in a true, new, God-centered, flourishing marriage.

Our Couples Intensive Process

Long-term relationships often fall into repeating arguments because our emotional brains react faster than our thinking brains, creating automatic patterns—or “dances”—between partners. Couples intensives focus on identifying these patterns, understanding their roots, and learning to respond differently, fostering greater connection and attunement.

During intensives, couples experience a safe environment to explore intense emotions and attune to each other’s inner world. Feeling truly “felt” by your partner—being seen, heard, and understood—is essential for closeness, trust, and emotional healing.

How Intensives Work:

  1. Spiritual Grounding: Sessions begin with prayer and worship, creating a foundation for healing.
  2. Understanding Your Story: Counselors explore your personal and relational history, identifying experiences and patterns that impact your relationship today.
  3. Creating a Path Forward: Issues are prioritized to focus on the most strategic areas for growth and breakthrough.
  4. Inner Healing Prayer: This process addresses root emotional wounds, inviting God’s presence into areas of pain, bringing peace where it seemed impossible.
  5. Addressing Self-Contempt: Learning to accept God’s forgiveness and letting go of self-blame is central to emotional and spiritual healing.
  6. Forgiveness and Release: Offenses toward yourself or God are acknowledged, surrendered, and released to restore freedom and peace.

Topics Addressed:

  • Repetitive relational patterns
  • Long-standing relationship difficulties
  • Depression, anxiety, and other emotional barriers
  • Spiritual and emotional obstacles hindering personal growth

Remarkable Results:
Intensives often achieve in 2–3 days what may take months of outpatient counseling. They are flexible, personalized, and designed to produce deep, lasting transformation in individuals and couples alike.

Serving:
Couples intensives are available in Dallas and surrounding areas, with participants sometimes coming from out of state.

By combining focused counseling, prayer, and spiritual guidance, couples intensives help relationships move from repetitive conflict to authentic connection, understanding, and healing.
